Presales

Launch a coin together.

A trustless way for a community to fund and launch a token on Solana — non-custodial, governed entirely by an on-chain contract, and fully refundable if the launch does not happen.

What a presale is

A collective launch buy, executed at a single price.

When a coin is launched the usual way, whoever launches it makes the first purchase and receives the cheapest tokens; everyone else buys afterwards, higher up the curve. A presale reverses that order. A community pools its SOL before the coin exists, and once the funding goal is met, that pool makes one collective launch buy. Every participant receives a share of that first purchase, at the same price — with no founder, sniper, or bot getting in ahead of the group.

HyperSale is the tool that coordinates this. Anyone may create a presale, and anyone may join one. The rules are defined by a smart contract on Solana rather than by a company server, so the terms cannot be altered, the pool cannot be seized, and no party can prevent a participant from claiming their tokens or their refund.

How it works

Four stages, from creation to tokens in your wallet.

  1. 1

    Create

A creator defines the presale — name, ticker, a soft cap and hard cap, a contribution window, and per-wallet minimum and maximum. On creation, these terms are recorded immutably on-chain. The creator cannot later change the caps, the fee, or the deadline. What a participant sees when they join is what they get. (The caps and window are defined below.)

  2. 2

    Join

Participants contribute SOL from their own wallet into the presale's on-chain vault. Each participant keeps control of their keys; the contract holds the pool, not HyperSale. The presale page tracks how many participants have joined as it progresses toward the goal.

  3. 3

    Launch

Once the soft cap is met at the deadline — or the hard cap fills earlier — the launch can be executed by the presale's creator or the platform admin, and by nobody else. The pooled SOL creates the coin on pump.fun and performs the collective buy within a single atomic transaction, leaving no window for a third party to trade ahead of the community. The coin is now live, and the group holds the opening position.

  4. 4

    Claim

After launch, each participant claims their allocation, proportional to the SOL they contributed — of the tokens left after the platform’s 1% share of supply. The claim is initiated by the participant, and the contribution record is closed in the same transaction — so an allocation can never be claimed twice.

Caps & timing

The four parameters that govern every presale — fixed at creation.

Soft cap
The minimum that must be raised for the presale to launch. If it is not reached by the deadline, the presale fails and every contribution is refunded in full. By default it is set to half the hard cap.
Hard cap
The maximum the presale will accept. Contributions that would exceed it are rejected, and once it is reached the presale closes early — it can launch immediately, without waiting for the deadline.
Contribution window
A fixed start and end time. Contributions are accepted only while the window is open. At the deadline the presale settles to funded (soft cap met) or failed (soft cap missed).
Per-wallet limits
A minimum per contribution and a maximum per wallet. The maximum prevents any single participant from taking an outsized share, keeping the allocation spread across the community.

If the soft cap isn't met

Contributed funds are always recoverable.

Refund

Full refund on failure

If the soft cap is not reached by the deadline, the presale does not launch, and every participant withdraws 100% of their contribution. No launch, no loss.

Fail-safe

Anti-stall guarantee

In the rare event that a funded presale fails to complete its launch, a built-in 14-day fail-safe allows anyone to return it to a refundable state. Contributed funds cannot become permanently locked — the contract always preserves a path to withdrawal.

Leaving early

Two ways to withdraw before a presale closes.

Exit

Leave entirely

Withdraw from a still-active presale in full. The participant receives most of their contribution; a small early-exit fee is retained by the platform.

Reduce

Withdraw partially

Remove part of a contribution and remain in the presale for the rest, keeping a place in line and a proportionally smaller allocation at launch.

Both actions are available only while the presale is active. Once it is funded and committed to launching, participation is fixed — the remaining outcomes are a claim on success or a refund on failure.

Security model

The contract enforces the rules — not the platform, and not the creator.

Self-custody

Every action is signed from the participant's own wallet. HyperSale holds neither private keys nor funds.

Contract-held pool

Contributions reside in a program-owned vault on Solana, not a company account. Code, not a person, governs where funds can move.

Withdrawals are pulled

Claims and refunds are initiated by the participant. There is no reliance on the platform to disburse funds after the fact.

Immutable terms

Goal, deadline, limits, and fees are fixed at creation. A creator cannot move the terms after participants have joined.

Independently reviewed

The program has undergone repeated adversarial security review. A paid external audit is a prerequisite for handling real funds on mainnet.

No discretionary path

The launch buy is bound to the community's coin and cannot be redirected. No operator override exists over the flow of funds.

Large presales

When a raise exceeds the capacity of a single bonding curve.

A pump.fun bonding curve fills at approximately 85 SOL. Most presales sit below that threshold and launch directly onto the curve. A larger presale graduates: the collective buy fills the curve, the coin migrates to the PumpSwap automated market maker, and the remaining pooled SOL continues purchasing on the resulting pool. Each stage is sequenced so that no third party can trade ahead of the community — the same principle as a standard launch buy, extended past the curve into a live market.

Status

In development

The core presale flow — create, join, launch, claim, with refunds — ships first. Large graduating presales have been validated end-to-end against production on-chain code and are being integrated into the application.

Fees

Transparent, and fixed per presale at creation.

Ongoing creator revenue

A portion of every subsequent trade of the launched coin accrues as pump.fun creator fees, for as long as the coin trades. Who receives that stream is chosen once, when the presale is created, and is fixed permanently at launch — pump records the coin’s creator on the bonding curve and no instruction changes it afterwards.

The creator keeps them. The default. The stream is split evenly between the creator and the platform, claimable at any time. A presale is then not only a launch but a continuing revenue stream for the party that ran it.

Or the contributors share them. The creator may instead direct the entire stream to the people who funded the round, divided in proportion to what each of them contributed, for as long as the coin trades. The creator takes nothing; the platform keeps a published minority share. Joining the round is then the only way to earn from the coin’s fees — including for the creator.

Fee sharing is not automatic in one respect worth knowing: the coin’s earnings sit with pump.fun until somebody sweeps them onto the presale’s pot. Anyone may do that, for any sale — it is permissionless, the funds can only reach that sale’s own participants, and claiming your share performs the sweep in the same transaction.

FAQ

Does HyperSale hold my SOL?

No. The presale pool is held in a smart-contract vault on Solana. HyperSale is the interface and never takes custody of keys or funds. Every contribution, claim, exit, and refund is signed by the participant.

What's the difference between the soft cap and hard cap?

The soft cap is the minimum required to launch — miss it by the deadline and everyone is refunded. The hard cap is the maximum accepted — reach it and the presale closes early and can launch straight away. A presale launches if it lands anywhere between the two by the deadline.

What happens if a presale fails?

If the soft cap is not met by the deadline, nothing launches and each participant withdraws a full refund. A 14-day fail-safe ensures that even a stalled launch can be returned to a refundable state, so contributed funds cannot be locked — and the creator or the platform can end a round at any time before it launches, which refunds everyone in full.

Can the creator take the pool?

No. The pooled SOL is controlled by the contract, not the creator, and cannot be withdrawn by them. The launch buy is bound to the community's coin and cannot be redirected, and the creator's terms are fixed at creation.

Who executes the launch?

The presale's own creator, or the platform admin — nobody else. That is not about the money: every term is fixed at creation, so a launch produces the same numbers whoever sends it. It is about timing. Whoever sends the launch knows the exact transaction in which the coin starts trading, and could attach their own purchase to it and buy ahead of the participants who funded the round. If neither of the two launches within 14 days, anyone may return the sale to a refundable state, so a presale can never be held hostage by silence. Either of them may also end the round deliberately at any point before it launches; that refunds every contributor in full.

How is my allocation determined?

Strictly in proportion to your contribution, applied to the pool that is left after the platform's share. The platform takes a fixed share of the coin's total supply out of the launch buy first; a participant who contributed 2% of the total raised then claims 2% of everything that remains. Nothing else reduces it — there are no tiers, no bonuses and no manual grants.

What do I need to participate?

A wallet holding some SOL. Within the HyperSale application a wallet is provisioned automatically — no seed phrase or browser extension — and you sign the transaction from it while retaining control of the keys.
